    Hey,

Thanks for contacting us. Sounds like you are pretty upset at the fact that he migh go to jail. What happened? Is there someone from home you can talk to about this? Can you get someone to go with you so they can be supportive and be there for you?

You're right, this is a scary thing and most people don't want to deal with it. If he does have to go to jail, what do you think you will do either for him or for yourself?

    Best of luck,
    -NRS

        Hi again,

It definitely sounds like you’re really struggling with this. It’s probably frustrating to have no idea what’s going to happen, since it all depends on what happens in court. You mentioned that he said the most he’ll get is a huge fine; this would avoid jail time right? There’s only a couple days left until the weekend, when hopefully you’ll know what the outcome will be. It’s great that you’re trying to figure out ways to cope with this in case he does have to go to jail. It will probably be important to have people there to support you and help you through this if it does happen. Is there anyone in your life you think you can turn to help you through this?

You’re welcome to call us if you ever want to talk to someone about this. We’re here 24/7, so you can call anytime.
