My name is Josh and i am 20 years old. I've been dating this girl for two years. Since it was a long distant relationship, my parents tried their hardest to break us up. Arguments upon arguments was had between my parents and me about my relationship. Eventually it got to the point where i stopped talking to them all together, and still to this day I don't talk to them. Everything other than that was going good, that was until the girl said that she didn't have any feelings for me anymore, and then i found out that she was dating another guy. She said she wont try to come back unless her boyfriend breaks up with her. I love Jessica and I cant live without her, its bad that i actually wish that her boyfriend would hurt her and dump her. I cant deal with all of this in my life. God has taken everything that was good in my life away and now i just want to leave.

    RE: Why

    Hi Josh,

Thank you for reaching out to us here at the National Runaway Safeline. It sounds like you're going through a tough time because of your breakup. It sounds like you're in a lot of pain and we're sorry to hear that you're going through this.

It sounds like you plan to leave because of your breakup. If so, where would you go? Do you have somewhere safe to stay? Since you are over the age of 18, you are free to leave if you'd like, but if you need somewhere to go, we can help you brainstorm safe places. This might include a friend's house, family's house, or a shelter or transitional living program.

If you need to talk about all that is going on, please feel free to call us. You can reach us directly by calling our 24 hour hotline, 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929) or through our Live Chat which is open every day from 4:30p to 11:30p CST and can be accessed here: http://www.nrschat.org:88/chat/UserP...&d=&u=&bypass=
