I'm 17 and my period is late. I'm very worried. I haven't taken a home pregnancy test, but will soon. My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years. My parents hate him. I work and go to school. If I were to be pregnant abortion is my choice. However, I've read so much online about it being the worst possible option. I don't want to kill an innocent child sent to me by God, but if I bring it into this world it won't have any of the resources it needs. If the test is positive either way I have to leave home. My parents will be furious so I don't want them to even find out. I want to keep going to school and working and making as much as I can, but it would be easy for them to find me. They could go to my school or work and I would be there. Also, all my paperwork and social security would be left behind and impossible for me to accomplish anything. At home I'm very blessed, I have a warm bed, food, a phone, a car, and this laptop that is mine. My parents help me with everything. They were going to help me with college and my own place next year when I move out. But this would take us back in our relationship and there's no way they would help me. My boyfriend has his own place and if I do leave he wants to go with him, but I'm not sure if I want to take that step. We're in this because of us. I have several friends I could stay with but my parents would look there first. I also don't want to get them in trouble. If this test turns out positive I really have ruined my life. I'm so scared and afraid. I'm not ready for this.
