I live with my boyfriend and his family but i want to go home to my mom because my boyfriend and i fight not physically but we yell and argue. I know that it isnt healthy to live with 5 guys and fight ona daily bases with my boyfriend. I cant find a job. Im ready to go home to my mother but i dont have a phone. Since i couldnt find a job i couldnt pay my phone bill and my family couldnt pay it for me because my aunt and uncles home burnt down so my family helped them to buy new things for them. Id like to go home before Christmas.

We are sorry to hear that you are currently in an unsafe situation and think it’s great that you are trying to keep yourself safe. Can you tell us more about what it’s like living there?
It sounds like you want to return home to your mom but don’t have any financial means to do so. We are sorry to hear that your aunt and uncle lost their home as well. It seems like you have a lot of very frustrating things going on right now.
While we do have a program called Home Free to help youth return home, it does have to be initiated over the phone. You said that you don’t have a phone because you were unable to pay for your bill but do you have access to a pay phone? Since we have an 800 number, it is toll free so you could call us for free. We also have other resources such as legal aid or shelters so you have a safe place to go if you are interested in any of those numbers.
We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929). Please, give us a call anytime so we can help you out.
We look forward to hearing from you and wish you the best of luck.
~NRSPlease remember you can reach us directly by calling our 24 hour hotline, 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929) or through our Live Chat.
