My girlfriend and I just broke up because 'it wasn't special anymore'. I feel like she was right but what does that phrase mean exaclty? And is that a reason that's very uncommon?

Thanks for reaching out and sharing your story. Break-ups are pretty tough especially when they are unclear. Have you had a chance to ask them what they really mean by that? Because if you ask me, it's understandable why you'd think that was vague. Would it help to talk to them again?

As for whether or not that's an uncommon reason, it's difficult to say. First see if you can find out what that means and than you can better place it in a category.
