Coming back after running away

My son ran away last Friday. I know where he is ,,,saw him once and we are meeting tomorrow at 2. He is high functioning autistic. I don't know what happened I said he can not going out because he missed 2 classes the week before. Then he went off on his dad when they return home from school. Not sure if he was overwhelmed due to school and had a mental break.
anyway my questions how do I deal with meeting him tomorrow? The place that he staying is saying you need to get home. We did baby steps this process this week. His reponse we was I will talk to my mom. I am afraid that he will be angry and try another person to live with. Or he will not come home. He is vaping and smoking weed.
He need to be accountable for his actions.
