My daughter left home with her friend on June 24, 2016 and went to Florida. She came back on the 30th while I was at work, but left with her friend again. I haven't seen her since. She has texted with her father and I, but not much. I know what town she is in and she is posting on facebook, but we can't get her to come home. I have filed a runaway report with the local sheriff department, but she is in a different county. It doesn't seem like they are doing anything. I haven't been called by any investigator so that I can give them copies of all the numbers she has texted and called. I have heard nothing from them about the search for my daughter.

We are sorry to hear about the situation you are going through with your daughter running away.

It’s may be of some comfort to hear from her through texting and facebook.
It may not seem like it but it’s at least a way for you to communicate.
Have you considered going into the sheriff station or police department about the information you have? Sometimes talking face to face might be helpful.
