Hello, I apologize if this is a redundant question. I’m aware that at 18, I’m allowed to leave home, but my parents have caught me and stopped me the first time I tried. They have claimed that since I have been diagnosed with several mental disorders that if I run away, they will call authorities and claim that I am a danger to myself to bring me back home. Are they able to do this? I’m in Washington state if that’s any help at all.
