May I leave my house at 18 but still in my senior year of high school?
Hello, I am a 17 year old girl in California. I am thinking of leaving/running away from my house once I turn 18 this December of 2021. I will still be in my first semester of senior year of high school. May I still leave my house at 18 years old as a high school student? Also, can my mom force me to come back if she calls the cops on me , as a run away ?

This means that you can live where ever you please and leave home without legal guardian permission. We are not legal experts, but from what we understand since you are a legal adult your legal guardian cannot have the police bring you back home.
