Thank you for contacting us here at NRS. It sounds like you have a plan to move to New York to live separately from your parents, and your parents support this plan. You seem to want to know more about the legalities of this move and while we are not legal experts we can speak generally on this. Until you turn 18 your parents have control in where you live and are legall responsible for you. Just as they can prevent you from leaving home as a minor, they can also give you permission to follow through on your plan. As long as your parents consent to the move and ensure you are safe, you would more than likely not have any legal challenges in the way. It would be helpful to keep in mind that while you are living away from your parents, you would still be considered a minor and might need your parents' consent to receive medical care, enroll in school, etc...

Can a 16 year old move out legally with parental permission in New york
I live in Massachusetts But if I’m legally Allowed I want to move to New York State my parents have already offered to pay for it all even buy me a small house so I have their permission
to move out but I want to know if it’s legal to move out at 16 or 17 years old Does anyone know if it’s legal with parental permission?Tags: None
