Hey there,
Thanks for reaching out for help. We can appreciate how difficult that can be. It sounds like your home life with your grandmother is difficult for you, but you still care about your siblings and wanting them to stay there. That’s mature of you to think of their safety..
It sounds like you have put a lot of thought into leaving. Your safety is our first priority, we want to make sure you’ve thought of where you are going to stay and how you are going to support yourself if you leave. If you would like to discuss your plan in more detail you can chat or call us (1800runaway.org, 1-800-786-2929). We aren’t legal experts, but if you left and your grandmother’s home was still safe, CPS would most likely leave your siblings with her. Finding foster homes can be difficult and CPS likes to keep siblings together and with family. Being scared for your siblings is an understandable feeling. It shows you care about your family.
Again, we want to say how brave you are for reaching out for help. If you would like to discuss anything in more detail we are here 24/7. Here to listen, here to help.
Good Luck! Please remember you can reach us directly by calling our 24 hour hotline, 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929) or through our Live Chat.
