It sounds like you may be in a difficult situation, but we want you to know that we are not legal experts. We can inform you that the legal adult age in Florida is 18, so there is a possibility that if you were to leave without your guardians consent, they could file a runaway report and the authorities would be able to return you back to your guardian. And if you were to stay at someone’s home, there is a chance that they could get into trouble for harboring a runaway.

i'm 17 and i want to move out
i'm 17 and i live in flordia but i'll be 18 in june. i live with my grandma but she doesn't have custody of me , my mom does. i want to move to GA but i wouldn't have permission too from my grandma or mom , could my grandma try and come get me even though she doesn't have custody of me? and would the police or courts even try and get me since i'll be 18 in 5 months.Tags: None
