    Hello,

In general if the legal adult age in your state is 18, it is likely that you would be able to make your own decisions. In order to be sure you could call your non emergency police to see if there is anything a parent can do to restrict an 18 year old. We can't say for sure. We trust that you would make the best decision for you. Good luck.

    Leaving at 18

Okay, so I think I have a pretty easy question. I am an 18 year old living in Utah. Right before my 18th birthday, I was living in ohio and was planning to move in with my boyfriend and his family. My family didn't approve of this, contacted them, told me they didn't want me to live with them, and sent me to my grandparents in Utah. Turns out the offer to live with my bf and his family is still there. Since I am now 18, is there any possible way my family can keep me in Utah? Or am I OK to go?
