when I turn 17 I want to run away to a different state. If when I am there, I get and apartment and a job if my parent makes a run away report for me can they force me to go back to my moms if they find me?

It sounds like you have the plan of running away to a different state when you turn 17 but are question, if found will the police force you to return home. We think that is great that you are looking into all possible outcomes this shows a great level of maturity. We want you to know that we are not legal experts but to our knowledge if your parents do file a runaway report for you and the police locate you then they would return you home, even if you are in a different state.
