can i legally run away at 12?

im 12 and in a rough situation. my parents are verbally abusive and occasionally physically. my mom has depression and i do too but im not diagnosed professionally, and i dont know if they caused it or if its hereditary. im sure i have it though. im too scared to tell them in case they yell at me or hit me. i want to run away. but i dont know where to go, who to trust, what to do. i live in ontario where you have to be 16 to move out but im not sure wht to do. i also dont want to report them because we have an emotional connection and when theyre not abusive, theyre kind. my sister is 18 and lives in a house near her university with her friends. she came back for quarantine but my dad was just yelling at her because he asked her a question and she kept repeating her answer which apparently wasnt good enough for her. im scared. please help
