Hello There,
Thank you for reaching out to The National Runaway Safeline, we are here to help and here to listen. It seems like you are going through a frustrating situation, it can be understanding how you want your freedom.
We are not legal experts but in Florida the legal age to leave home is 18 years old. So if you were to leave home without permission you could not be put on house arrest. But because it is your parent’s home there could be consequences if you do not follow their rules. Because you are 18 your parents could kick you out without being charged with neglect.
We hope this information will be helpful to you in your situation. If you have any other questions or would like to explore more options please give us a call. We are here 24/7 to listen and to provide support. Best of luck!
