16 and I Don't Know Where to Stay if I Move Out

I'm 16 and I have been dreaming of leaving home for a while now. I live in California. I figured I'd just wait until college and never come back, but I can't wait any longer. My household is very chaotic and stressful. I already care for myself completly on my own at this point, and staying is only added stress. I am emotinally abused. I am willing to try to get emancipated and leave, but I don't know what my housing options are. I have a job that pays $14 an hour, but I'm not sure if I could afford a apartment here along with all the other living exspenses of being independent. Could I move states, and have my emancipation still apply? Is there other living options?
