Hello there,
We're sorry you didn't have anyone to support you when you got kicked out and it sounds like you're concerned about how you're parents would react if they found out you were considering moving out. We are here to listen and support to the best of our ability.
We also hope you were able to check out this response, http://bulletinboards.1800runaway.or...ed=1#post25182. Best of luck!

Actually i dont have anyone to support me and when i got kicked out i couldnt go anywhere because i dont know anyone since my parents wont let me go out much so i ended up just walking around outside then going back home after awhile. And i dont want my parents to find out that im doing this otherwise they'd get really mad that im talking about this kind of stuff online and thinking about moving out.

Im 16 and i have no freedom
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out to us. We’re sorry to hear that your family is being so constricting. It’s awesome that you’re trying to better your situation! It’s not easy to do and you’re being very brave in trying.
We offer a conference call service that would allow you and your parents to safely express yourselves in a facilitated conversation. The goal would be to come to a compromise. This can be an option to think about to try to gain some freedoms. If would like to do so or want more information on what this would be like , do not hesitate to call us.
Moving out at 16 can definitely prove challenging and there’s a chance you might not be able to do so as successfully as one would hope to. An option could be trying to get emancipated (which is typically a long and difficult process) or getting your parent’s consent to move out. If you call us we can explore other options or resources that could possibly help with job placement.
You mentioned you’ve been kicked out of your house before and that sounds like a really difficult thing to experience. We hope that you are remaining safe by reaching out to someone you trust or of support during these times. We also can try to find resources such as shelters or transitional living programs using our database based on your city and state.
Best,
NRS

Im 16 and i have no freedom
Hi, im 16 year old girl and I really want to move out and get my own apartment and a job so i can support myself. The problem is that i dont know how i'll do that, i need someone to help me along the way. I am tired of living with my family because my parents are really strict and religious so i have no freedom whatsoever. Everything I wear outside or do has to be approved by them and I feel like im old enough to make my own decisions. Im not allowed to have social media either nor am i allowed to go over to friends houses. My parents are way too strict for me and ive been kicked out of my house before a few times because of my behavior. Please help i wanna move out and start living my life the way i want to.Tags: None
