International 28 year old female, run away.

My friend is a 28 year old female who comes of a country where females are discriminated solely because of their gender. She plans to visit the (United States-Washington DC) with her dad and run away from to her friends house in a different state.

My questions are what is going to happen to her legally?, will she be considered "legal" giving she will have a legal visa status, although her passport might be frozen by her original country upon her fathers report. What happens to me if i help her go to her friend?, if the original country has good relations with the United States, will that change her outcome and the police response towards her being missing from her family?, what's the likelihood of her getting an asylum-refugee status if she has been discriminated in her original country?
