That means that if you tell us you are running away, that information will go no further than the call. We are mandated reporters of child abuse, which means that if a minor discloses they are being abused to us, we are required by law to make a child abuse report if we have their identifying information, like name and address. However, you can always choose to stay anonymous, so if you want to talk about abuse issues but you don't want to make a report, you don't have to tell us your name or other information if you choose to keep it to yourself.
