  • I’m 17 and have question about moving out

I’m 17 and pregnant and plan to move out soon into an apartment with my 18 year old boyfriend. Both my parents approve of it, however I wanted to know if it’s legally possible for me to do so.

    Hello There,
Thank you for contacting The National Runaway Safeline, we are here to help and here to listen. We are not legal experts but do have general information on the laws. If both your parents are giving you permission to move out then it most likely would be fine. The only way the police would get involved is if your parents filed a runaway report, which if they give you permission that is unlikely.
We hope this information will be helpful to you in your situation. If you have any more questions or would like to explore your options please give us a call. Best of luck!
