You could consider calling your local nonemergency police department to ask about your state laws regarding renter’s rights. You mentioned panic attacks, depression and anxiety. If you’re not currently getting mental health resources, it can be really helpful to get treatment. As your mental health suffers, you have -limited ability to handle the other stressors in your life. I need to get away from my grandma
Florida-I’m 16 (17 in September) I lived with my grandma for about 7/8 years and she hasn’t been abusive but demeaning. I have a job and I want a better life for my parents as they live in our backyard illegally because they lost their home due to the state buying the property. She threateneds to kick me and my family out and I would like to know an alternative to get me and my family out. We can’t just leave because my grandma has took my parents income tax (well she’s trying to get 3,000 even though we don’t have nearly as that much . Anyways she has rans us out of money and gave us no option to feed into her. Is there any way I can sue on behalf of my parents for neglect or emotional trauma as I did become clinically depressed and I have developed anxiety with panic attacks because of her for the past 3-4 years. She has given me a roof over my head but nothing else. Not clothes not love not support nothing.
