    Hey there,

Thank you for being able to reach out to use here at the National Runaway Safeline. It sounds like you are going through a pretty tough situation and are looking to see what your options are.

In most school districts, you are able to enroll yourself into school as a homeless student through the McKinney Vento act. This act allows homeless youth to enroll themselves into school without parental consent. If you would like to know more about this act in your area, I would highly encourage you to reach out to the school district you are thinking of going to and asking what their protocol is.

We hope that we were able to provide you with some general information. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us at 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929). We wish you the best of luck.

    Stay strong,

    NRS
