  • Leaving the country

I have been disqualified from joining the army. Not because of my pending felony but because of two previous misdemeanors i have. I have decided to join the french foreign legion. So far it looks like my case will leave me with 7 years of probation.

My first question is if i leave the country while on probation will that make me wanted by interpol which is the only disqualifying favtor from my research.

My second question is if i were to go ahead and leave, assuming it would cause me to be wanted by interpol the FFL will hand me over to the authorities and i will be extradicred back to America. Will tjis make it where i can no longer travel to france in order to join the FFL after i complete my punishment for my felony and for trying to flee? Will i forever be rescrited to the US?

I have wanted to join the military my whole life and this is all that i want. It is really important to me to find out every possible avenue and the consequenses that come with following some avenues.
