Me and my best friend used to go to the same school (In Nebraska) and back then her and her family situation wasn’t always the best, but she managed through. She didn’t get fed every night, and was neglected. I moved to California about a year and a half ago. Since then we still have had contact. Recently she has told me she was going to runaway, or tell her therapist that it’s bad for her to live there. Turns out, she came out to her family while I was gone and now they are been even more harsh on her. She gets fed less and grounded more. I want to help her. Is there any safe space for lgbt teens? How can she get help? What can I do to make sure she is safe?
