I want to move out/run away. My family is stressful. I have 3 siblings under the age of 6, a grandfather with Parkinsons disease. All I do is clean when I am at home. I do k12 and I watch kids, clean, stare at a screen all day and I work. My parents are so strict I can't breathe.I have terrible depression and anxiety. And I swear I'm going to kill myself if I don't move out. I want to move back to Michigan where my family and friends are. I am 16. Please help me. I want to do this well.

Thank you for reaching out. It takes a lot of courage to ask for help. It sounds like you’re feeling overwhelmed at home, and there is a lot that is put on you. Sometimes when you are feeling depression and anxiety it can be helpful to reach out to people you trust like maybe a friend, a teacher, or a school counselor.
It sounds like you have given leaving home a lot of thought, but there are also other things to consider. It can be helpful to think about what you will do about school and how you will get food, transportation, and shelter. Running away is not illegal, but it is a status offense which means if someone reports you as runaway there is a possibility that the police may look for you and could bring you home.
