I'm going to runaway but I'm scared to get homesick.

I'm 15 and I'm running away to another state. Once I leave I can come back because I don't wanna deal with the trouble. I'm scared I'll get homesick. Any other runaways get homesick?

Running away can be really risky, and we often hear from youth who ran away and want to go back home because they ended up in a dangerous situation or with nowhere to go. Running across state lines comes with it’s own challenges. If you go so far away from home, do you have a plan for how to get back?
