    RE: i need help

Thanks for reaching out today and it sounds like you are going through a lot. We’re sorry to hear about your grandmother passing away and it can be really hard to deal with something like that. You mentioned suicide and we take that seriously so we want to let you know that we are here to talk through anything and can offer support. You can also call 1-800-273-TALK which is the National Suicide Hotline. You also mentioned that you were being bullied and you don’t deserve that at all and are really strong for reaching out to us. It definitely sound like there are a number of things going on and it might be helpful to talk to someone else about all of this. Sometimes a counselor, teacher, trusted adult or parent are good options of people to talk to about all of this. There’s also websites such as www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org and our own website www.1800runaway.org that have chat features so you can talk to someone confidentially. You also mentioned wanting to run away but have no place to stay. That can definitely be a concern and those are things you may need to think about when trying to be safe. Some things to think about include- where am I going to stay? How am I going to survive? Is my plan safe? Do I have any other options other than leaving? Can I talk to anyone about what’s going on? These are just a couple questions to ask yourself when thinking about whether running away is a good and safe option for you. Again, we are really sorry that you’re going through all this and we are always here to help and talk through more options.
Please remember you can reach us directly by calling our 24 hour hotline, 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929) or through our Live Chat.
