I’m 17 but I live with my boyfriend and my mom.. my parents want to make him pay for everything I need such as medical insurance, gas, prom dress, food etc. My question is, is it true that since he’s living with me even if I’m under age my parents shouldn’t take care of me or any of my expenses? Let’s say that if we go to court and they allege that they won’t pay for any of my stuff anymore because I live with my boyfriend and he should take care of me? Are they right? Or it doesn’t matter and thy should take care of me until I’m 18?
