In the state of Michigan can my parents force me to go to school if I’m 17? And I’m not talking about like dropping out I just mean like skipping a day because I’m having bad anxiety.

Since you mentioned wanting to skip school due to this anxiety, we wonder if school brings it on. If so, speaking with a favorite teacher or school counselor may be helpful. As far as your question of if your parents can make you go to school, you are a minor so they are responsible for your education and they can make sure you get to school. Again, you know your parents best as far as what they will do or how far they will go to get you to the school.

im having such a bad time at school recently at the minute I'm off with the flu but I don't want to go back and my only hope is running away but I have no where to go. I don't know what to do I just want to move away to a boarding school but they're so expensive I can't do it anymore its making me really ill and making me think about hurting myself sometimes I need some help please
