My girlfriend coming to live with me?

Hey all, my girlfriend isn't treated very well at home and over the past few months things have gotten worse resulting in her having any communication with the outside world being taken away. Before her phone was taken away we were discussing the idea of her coming to live with me, only problem is I can't contact her. Would it be possible for me to just show up at her house and she could leave with me there and then? Would her parents need to be told anything in advance? Is it illegal for her parents to make her stay at home? We're both 16 going on 17 and from the UK if that helps anything in terms of laws and human rights, thanks in advance for any responses.

Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out to us tonight. It sounds like your girlfriend is in a pretty stressful situation right now and we're so sorry to hear about that. It seems like you care a lot about her which is great. We are sure it makes it easier for her to have someone so supportive in her life.
