I am less than 2 months from turning 18. I live in Indiana. I am having many issues at home with my parents and I just want out to take a break for a couple weeks. My friend's family has offered to let me stay there. If my parents report a runaway will the police force me to go home or will I get a choice? and will that family have issues because of me? I have been dealing with a crazy amount of stress for the past 3 months that normal 17 year olds shouldn't have to deal with. I just need a break. Would the police understand that?
