I know if I stay at home I am going to kill myself or run away can. I just leave home at age of 17 without being forced back to a place I don't feel safe in?

It sounds like you've reached a breaking point and are considering either killing yourself or running away. Please know we do care about your safety, although we aren't here to tell you what to do. If you are feeling suicidal there is support out there. http://www.youmatter.suicidepreventionlifeline.org/ provides help specifically to younger people. As far as whether you can leave home at 17 without being forced back, that can be hard to answer without knowing how police or your parents/guardians will react. Should you run away and be picked up by law enforcement, you can certainly let them know you don't feel safe. However, until it happens it is hard to guarantee what the outcome will be.
