You might call the American Diabetes Association free hotline at 1-800-DIABETES. They might have more answers about how and where you can access treatment.

I'm diabetic and 17
Hi guys, I am 17 and i am type one diabetic. Me and my girlfriend are sick of being treated like kids. Our parents are letting us see each other, we are planning on running away but I don't know where I would be able to get my medication. I get supplies (paid for by my medical insurance) every month. Im not sure if I'll be able to runaway without my medication. I'm looking to find out if I could still get my medical supplies while I'm out on the road.
