I need help and some questions answered

Hi, if i were to run away from home (Im 16) and i moved to another state with money of my own would my parents be able to find where i live?
and would they try to get me back? because.. my father doesn't care about me, nor does my mother ( They took away my only source of income which was art) to buy supplies because my father says he won't be a "dad" to me anymore and i don't like living here, what should i do?
someone i know is trying to get custody of me (His mom is) and its taking to long for them to get a reply, and i don't want to be here any longer if i ran away to another state and left everything would that still find me or? i hope toe get a reply soon

But your parents could file a runaway report, the police could get involved and bring you home, and the people you’re staying with could possibly get in legal trouble.
