We are glad that you are reaching out to us. It seems like you are in a difficult situation at home. We aren’t legal experts but we can speak generally. In the US running away is a status offense, not a criminal offense. That means if you run away it is possible the police can return you back to your guardian. This is typically all that will happened. It is also possible that whoever you will be staying with will get in trouble for “harboring a runaway”. It may be best to contact your local law enforcement and ask what the procedure is for pursing a runaway.
