    re: ranaway

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to us and it sounds like you’re really aware that you don’t want to leave your parents which is a great thing to acknowledge. Sometimes it’s hard to look at the things that are holding us back but it’s great that you can see that your parents are a big part of your life.

You also mentioned that you want to get away from your problems so that it’s easier. It’s possible that this may be a good way to escape your problems and can you think of other ways to deal with problems? It could be something as simple as just taking a break from everything to just hang out in your room or talking to someone about what you’re feeling overwhelmed by such as a teacher, trusted friend or parent.

If you do decide to leave it’s important to stay safe. Feel free to check out on more information for this or you can give us a call to get more resources and shelters or just to talk about what’s going on. We are here 24/7 at 1800-RUNAWAY or from 4:30-11:30 PM at

Best of Luck and feel free to talk at anytime!

Please remember you can reach us directly by calling our 24 hour hotline, 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929) or through our Live Chat.
