Hello,
Thanks for reaching out to us for help. It sounds like you are in a really difficult situation. You have been through a lot, and it sounds like you are a really strong and responsible person to be able to take care of yourself. This must be really frustrating. You mentioned that you have documentation from the Social Security Administration proving that you do not have a legal guardian. Is the Department of Family Services aware of this? We are not legal experts, so we cannot give you legal advice. Have you thought about talking to a lawyer about your options? We might be able to help you find a Legal Aid resource in your area that could help you out. If you want resources or someone to talk to, we are available 24/7 at 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929). You can also reach us through our live chat every day between 4:30pm and 11:30pm CST on www.1800RUNAWAY.org. This must be a very frustrating time for you.
