Hi,
I just moved out of my parents house without their consent. I'm 18 years old already. The reason is that they treat me like a little kid and always compare me to other people. I don't like hw they abuse me emotionally all the time, its not fair. I have a job, savings account, my own apartment, and I go to college. Are they going to call the police. What happens??

Thanks for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear you are going through a hard time with your parents. Just to let you know, we are not legal experts. However, typically in the states you are considered a legal adult at the age of 18. Most police stations will not take a police report for an adult who has left home. It sounds like you are doing fairly well for yourself and are pretty independent. If you have legal concerns, you can always call your local police department and ask what would happen.
