I'm sixteen right now, turning seventeen in two months.
My parents and I do not get along at all
I am ready to move out but I'm trying to figure out the finances and legal parts of it.
I'm in texas, does anyone know if it's legal to leave home at 17 in texas?
Also, anyone know about renting an apartment at 17? I've heard that it's possible, you just have to talk to the landlord and see if they're willing.
Also, I'm planning out my finances to see if my current job is capable of providing for me, or if I need to get another one.
What I have so far on my finances list:
-Apartment ($345-415/month with roommate(s))
-Groceries ($100/month)
-Transportation ($50-$100/month)
-Phone Bill ($50/month)
-Gas/Electric (unknown)
-School & Books (approx $700/month)
^subtract scholarships from that^
Is there anything I'm missing?
Thanks!
