I'm 17 years old. I live in Georgia. If I run away can my parents call the cops to bring me home?

Running away can pose many questions about the law. While we’re not legal experts, we can tell you that in many places at 17 years old, running away is considered a status offense. What that means is that if your parents file a runaway report on you, you would be returned to them if you were picked up by the police.
