I'm 16 and pregnant with twins I'm 11 weeks I just came from my mom's house she dropped me off at my boyfriends she gave me all my social security card my birth certificate and my Medicaid card but she told me she has to report me ssh a runaway because she don't want to get truncy so am I still able to go to my doctor apoint ments listed as a runaway???I also talk to my mom eveyday

We’re sorry to hear you’re in a difficult situation with the legality of what you can do during your pregnancy without your mom’s permission. There are different ways this can be dealt with but every city/county/state are different about the law in these situations. Generally being listed as a runaway is merely a way for police throughout the country to know that you have run away and from there they would likely just take you home. Going to the doctor’s office is a different situation. Because you are a minor they may not be able to see you without your parent/legal guardian present, but that’s something you can call ahead of time and ask them.
