If youre a parent and youre researching these things then I would encourage you to take it a step further. I believe that a key point in avoiding these 'trampings' is to let your youth know of the truth behind running away: how hard it is to survive, how hard it is to get a job without a highschool diploma, the dangers to health and the preditors who arent smart but take advantage of whatever they can. The main reason im writing this is because if you let your teen know about the truth and encourage their research - they can speak to their friends, or to people who you cant; families and step familys they come into contact with.
