Re: I want to run away but i just don't think i can
Hello,
We appreciate you writing to us to share your thoughts and feelings on the matter at home. It seems that you have a reasonable way at looking at your own situation. It sounds like you are trying to do the right thing but it does not seem to be working. It is very mature of you when you think of walking away if things are not good at home.
Have you consider speaking to someone outside the family? Do you have a relative you can go to for support? It is great that you have the support you need from one parent. Have you thought about sitting mom and dad down to speak more openly on these issues?
We are here for you to call us to explore these issues more. We are confidential and anonymous. We can explore options with you. We are 24 hours a day. We can be reached at 1800RUNAWAY for support and resources. We hope you stay strong and good luck to you until we hear from you.
-NRSPlease remember you can reach us directly by calling our 24 hour hotline, 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929) or through our Live Chat.
