parents make me sleep on the floor
take away money including debt card
allowed at church home and school only
but say i can go other places
have blocked me in a room to talk
have had a descution with open scissors in there hand
tells my siblings that i don't want to be apart of the family
encourages them to make fun of me

is this emotional/non-physical abuse?

How do you cope with all of this happening? How does all of this make you feel? Do/Have you talked to anyone about this before…school counselors, friends, other relatives?
We cannot tell you for sure right now if this is considered emotional abuse. If you can call us here at 1-800-RUNAWAY we can go over what is happening in more detail and try to figure out your concerns. We can also try to figure out your options. Unfortunately emotional abuse is very hard to prove, and if there is an investigation in the home it may come up inconclusive. But again, we cannot tell you for sure right now.
