I hate my home life. I know for a fact I don’t have it as bad as other kids but I’m still a person and i have really really hard emotions. My family only seem to see me when I’m sick or I attempted to kms. They yell all the time and took me from the one person who truly cares about me. Every single day I’m just going through the days. It get worse and worse every hour and minute. I always feel like dying truly. The only time I’m ever truly happy is when I'm away from them. The screaming. The belittling. The rudeness. I don’t know what to do anymore.

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to NRS. I’m sorry that you’re going through that. That sounds like a very difficult situation at home, and one that would certainly affect anyone in a negative way if they had to listen to screaming, belittling, and rudeness all the time. Just because other kids might have it worse doesn’t mean that it’s ok for them to treat you like that, or that you don’t deserve help. We can help you figure out what to do if you call in at 1-800-RUNAWAY, or chat with us on our website. Another good place to go if you want support specifically for your mental health is NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) at www.nami.org or 1-800-950-NAMI. Both us and NAMI are available 24/7, whenever you might need us. Our ability to respond over the forums is limited, so if you would like to contact us further, please call us at 1-800-RUNAWAY or live chat with us at our website, 1800runaway.org.
We hope you stay safe and that we hear from you soon,
NRS Staff
Please remember you can reach us directly by calling our 24 hour hotline, 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929) or through our Live Chat.
