    Hi there,

We are glad you reached out to us here at National Runaway Safeline (NRS). We recognize that you mentioned you are not safe around yourself or others. With that being said, please dial 911 immediately if you find yourself or anyone else in or at risk of being in imminent any danger from yourself or someone else.

It sounds like you are wanting to transition and start the process immediately. We are curious if you have ever heard of The Trevor Project before? They are a support line, similar to NRS, though they specialize in support and resources for the LGBTQ+ community. They may be reached at (212) 695-8650 or through their online chat option, found on their website at https://www.thetrevorproject.org/contact-us/

Another viable resource at this time may be 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, which specializes in mental health support and resources. It sounds like you are serious about wanting help and assistance and perhaps assistance in the mental health area may be helpful as well. 988 may be reached by dialing the digits 988 to reach them by phone, or by their online chat on their website at www.988lifeline.org

Lastly, we recognized that you mentioned these emotions you are experiencing are causing you to want to run away. You are always welcome to reach out to us through our line at 1-800-RUNAWAYAY or through our online chat as well, found on our website at www.1800runaway.org.

Each of these resources may play a great role in helping you navigate through this situation. Please know that you are not alone and we wish you all of the best.

    Sincerely,
    NRS
Please remember you can reach us directly by calling our 24 hour hotline, 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929) or through our Live Chat.
