Running away when you're under 18 can be really hard. There aren't a lot of supports in place to help out people who do run away, and even when your home environment isn't your preferred place to be, the laws and people who enforce them usually try to bring people back to the home they're 'supposed' to be in. It might be worth seeing if you can stay there for a few days at a time, which could be more doable.
However if you feel that you need to run away, or want to talk more deeply about anything else, we are here for you. You can contact us any time by live chat at 1800runaway.org or call us at 1-800-RUNAWAY. Your feelings are real and deserve to be listened to, and we're here to help as best we can. Please remember you can reach us directly by calling our 24 hour hotline, 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929) or through our Live Chat.
