I want to run away but im scared if im going to get caught

So i sometines "misbehave" and its more frequent at my timr of age. So when ever i am misbehaving, my dad would tell me death threats like chopping my body, then having a meal with it, or bury me alive. And for my mother, I feel like she doesnt love me anymore. My older brother wrestles and if I dont do something for him, he sometimes puts me in a headlock or hit me as a punishment. Besides that I cant get therapy becausr my dad will say "well we will do my therapy which will include 100 pushups, and 100 blah blah for 5 years until you bleed" There is no way to get help from my parents with out my dad making me do these crazy actions my body cant handle. So im thinking of running away. I have a safe place i can go to, But im worried that the police might find me and I wont have a good enough reason to stay as a run away. But I do not want to be marked as dead or something and have to make a whole new identity and not being able to go outside for like a year. But it seems thats the only way because risking going back to this house is scary. If I get caught running away and im brought back home, i have no idea what is going to happen to me. So i want to know if that story is enough for me to runaway safely without joing to juvie, or bring brought back home.

It sounds like you haven't felt emotionally taken care of at home, and might be feeling emotionally or physically unsafe around some of your family. That is not what you deserve, and we are here to help as much as possible.

First, if you ever feel you are in immediate danger, you can always call 911. If you are experiencing physical abuse or excessive emotional/verbal abuse at home, we can also report what's been going on to child protective services, which could result in some people visiting your home to assess the situation. If possible, you can see if you can see a counselor through school without having to tell your parents. You can also contact the National Alliance on Mental Illness (www.nami.org) to speak to a mental health professional there.

As far as running away, it can unfortunately be pretty difficult, but we are here to talk through it. It can be helpful to think through a plan, including where you will go, who you will stay with and for how long, and who you will contact in case of an emergency. It is true that often when people your age run away, parents can call police and they can investigate where you are and try to return you home. It is unlikely you would be arrested/go to juvie.
