  • I don't feel loved.

I don't like being at home. I really just want to be somewhere else. My mom always compares me to other people and fat shames me. She thinks I have a mental disability but she won't go to a doctor about it. She blames me for everything bad that has happened over the past 4 years. I'm currently 12 and she wants to kick me out. I've never told anyone about this because my mom says that kids get raped and abused if they get taken by CPS. She tells me she doesn't care and that she wishes I was never born. She hits me with an extension cord and beats me. I lied to my school nurse about the scratches on my arm because I didn't want to get my mom in trouble. I'm scared and I just want love. Is that too much to ask for? Why was she of all people my mom?

It sounds like your mother has been abusing you for years and is trying to are you feel like you are crazy. You’re not. If you don’t feel comfortable talking to CPS, please talk to your school counselor or another trusted adult. You deserve to be loved. Please talk to someone who can help you get out of there. I understand that you don’t want to get your mom in trouble, but telling someone will make sure that she stops treating you like this. Your mother might need professional help, and you can give her that if you talk to someone.
